Flora
Flora began her dental career over 20 years ago as a certified dental assistant. Flora believes there’s nothing more gratifying than helping patients overcome their dental fears, and still finds it amazing to watch how healthy, new smiles transform lives! She is here to discuss any questions you may have, whether it’s a treatment plan, insurance, current events or anything you may need to make your time with us pleasant and positive. Flora is fluent in Spanish, and in her free time, loves to play in the garden and lavish affection upon her two handsome sons.
Connie
Connie joined our Dental Team in January of 2012, after working with Dr. Luzzi for 5 years at another dental practice. She likes to say that she trained Dr. Luzzi very well! She spends her time between the front desk with Flora and assisting with Dr. Luzzi. When at the front desk, she’s the one who is calling to confirm your appointment or scheduling your next one. As a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, Connie is there to assist Dr. Luzzi through all clinical procedures. Outside of the office, Connie enjoys spending time with her husband Ken, son Tyler and daughter Lindsay. She also likes taking yoga classes and going to the movies with her friends. Connie looks forward to catching up with our current clients as well as meeting new patients!
Rebecca
Rebecca is a Registered Dental Hygienist who was born and raised in London, Ontario. She completed her post-secondary education at Fanshawe College, graduating from their Dental Assisting program in 2012 and Dental Hygiene program in 2015, and has been working at Highland Woods Dentistry since then. Rebecca is an active member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Hygienists’ Association and the London and District Dental Hygienists’ Society. She continues to learn about topics of interest related to her profession, ensuring her patients are provided with the proper tools and knowledge to achieve optimal oral health. When Rebecca is away from the office she most likely is on a vacation to Disney World. Rebecca grew up a competitive dancer and still takes ballet classes at local dance studios. She loves spending time in the sun and with her family and friends. Rebecca can’t wait to see your smile!
Tricia
Tricia is a Registered Dental Hygienist who lived in London for several years while attending UWO before moving to Guelph and becoming a dental hygienist. She graduated in 2003 from Durham College and received the Dr. Peter Zakarow Award for achievement in dental hygiene. While working in Guelph, she was voted the Guelph Tribune Reader’s Choice Gold Award for favourite dental hygienist in 2022. She is pleased to be back in London working with Dr. Luzzi’s team in a career she loves, and to help patients improve their oral health. In her spare time she enjoys various activities in nature, cooking international foods, and expanding her knowledge in natural sciences. She’s also a member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and the Ontario Hygienists Association.
Shaina
Shaina was born and raised in London ON. She graduated from the Fanshawe Dental Hygiene Program in 2019. Her favourite part about being a Dental Hygienist is educating and creating individualized care for each patient. Shaina continues to expand her knowledge in the dental profession and cannot wait to further her experience at Highland Woods Dentistry. In her spare time, Shaina loves creating art and other handmade products for my small business. She is a big foodie that loves watching movies and spending time with her friends and family. Shaina has two dogs and two cats that she adores.
