Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Dr. Luzzi knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. He was the recipient of the Governor General’s Bronze Medallion upon graduating from Fort William Collegiate Institute. Keith (as he prefers to be called) then pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario (now Western University). There he received a bachelor’s degree in Biophysics and the UWO Silver Medal. He then completed a master’s degree in Medical Biophysics, studying the mechanisms of cancer metastasis and publishing several research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Enjoying student life at UWO, he then continued on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, where he was the recipient of the 3M Canada Award in Restorative Dentistry and the Quintessence Research Award; he also presented his research into dental implant prosthetics at the International Association for Dental Research conference in San Diego.
Dr. Luzzi has been in private practice since 2002, and thoroughly believes in lifelong learning. He has completed numerous continuing dental education courses, is a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute, and has obtained Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association and the London Premier Dental Study Club.
Outside of the office, Dr. Luzzi has three dogs that keep him busy and entertained. Keith is also an avid cyclist and can often be found on the roads and trails around Southwestern Ontario, as well as the virtual roads of Zwift. He enjoys traveling with his wife, and appreciates good food and even better wine. He has been known to dabble in photography, and hopes to one day combine all of his pastimes by cycling from vineyard to vineyard in Italy and France.
